Dear Capri, Italy

An hour ferry right outside of Napoli, the beautiful, and incredibly pricey town of Capri awaits. A couple days basking in the Caprisun, as my trustworthy travel companion Emily (who we will now continue to refer to as Vig) calls it, we did not get any tanner, probably because it was their winter season. I couldn't help but wonder, what was it about Capri that had us so mesmerized?

Well, this little Italian island was incredibly breathtaking. The water was so blue, the food was so rich, the trees were so green, the people were so sweet, and the memories are so fulfilling. Regardless of the chill or the wildly expensive prices, this is definitely a place that I would return to.

a tanning, on the rocks, pls. xx

Each day we went to the beach and sunbathed on the rocks, sipping sangria and snacking on caprese salad, and dipped in the icy blue water. Afterwards, Vig and I would meander the streets, walking into little restaurants trying out different dishes and drinks, authentic to Capri.

Capri is the perfect place to stay for venturing around the other islands. By ferry, Capri is just 50 minutes from Napoli, 20 minutes from Sorrento, and 30 minutes from Positano!

My only advice?

Bring flip flops. I do NOT recommend moving around in your ballet flats!

Arrivederci!
